What is Lorem Ipsum?
Lorem Ipsum is scrambled Latin taken from Cicero’s "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum", written in 45 BC. Printers have used it as dummy text since the 1500s because it looks like natural language without being readable — so reviewers judge the layout instead of reading the words.
Does placeholder text hurt SEO?
Only if it is published. Lorem Ipsum on a live, indexable page gives search engines no useful content and can look like a thin or unfinished page. Keep it on staging, or block it from indexing, and replace it before launch.
How much text should I generate?
Match the real thing. If the finished section will run about 300 words, generate about 300 words — filler that is much shorter or longer than the real copy hides exactly the layout problems you are testing for.
Can I generate HTML directly?
Yes. Switch the output format to HTML and each paragraph comes wrapped in a <p> tag, or each list item in an <li> inside a <ul>, ready to paste into a template.
Is the generated text always the same?
No. The wording is drawn from the classical word pool each time you press Generate or Shuffle, so you get a fresh block while the settings stay where you left them.
